WELCOME to the Pittsburgh Chapter
website and thank you for visiting.
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to learn about our
chapter.
The Pittsburgh Chapter of EAPA was
founded in 1973. Our long history of comrodery, support and commitment to core
technology of the EA Profession are the driving strengths of our
Chapter.
We also enjoy a reputation as the “education” chapter and have
offered quality programming to our members for many years.
Members represent a diverse group of organizations. Employee assistance
service professionals, treatment providers, and private practitioners
bring to the organization a broad range of knowledge from each of their
perspectives.
We are proud of the various chapter
members who have served in EAPA International leadership positions -
Linda Sturdivant, President 2000 - 02, Paul Kowatch, Chair of the
Employee Assistance Certification Commission 2000 - 02, Jill
Balagur-Conn, member of the EACC.
Our meetings are held on the third
Tuesday of every month, excluding August. The location varies so please
check the website to see where the meetings are held. We have many
active committees and urge our members both new and old to consider how
they can assist the chapter in its continued success.
Our website is new and
growing. If you have any
suggestions, please let us know or contact one of our chapter officers. |
